First Class Art Exhibition


The pupils in First class showed off their incredible clay art project to their parents and the other pupils in the school. Thanks to the artist Mary Wallace from Wexford for undertaking the space project with the children.

Operation Transformation 10 @ 10


All pupils and teachers embraced Operation Transformation’s call to increase our fitness last week. We did a variety of aerobics, yoga, dance and obstacle courses as well as our usual hour of PE. Let’s hope we keep it up.

Hallowe’en 2016

Friday 28th was a great day in St Francis Junior school. All the teachers, staff and pupils made a big effort with their costumes. The hiphop dancathon was a big success. Thanks for your support.

1916 Commemoration

On Tuesday 15th our caretaker Mr Guiden raised our new Irish flag. Mrs Power spoke to the large group of children and parents about the 1916 rising. Children from 1st and 2nd classes performed a lovely concert for the audience. in the weeks leading up to the event the children worked on projects and learned games and songs from 100 years ago.
